Two addresses, and a rule for choosing between them

Anything with a specification in it goes to the quotes address. Anything else goes to the general address. Both are read by a person, and every message gets a reply, including the ones we cannot help with.

Quotes and specifications

quotes@wetwareworld.com

A requirement, a protocol, a drawing, a paragraph from a grant, or a question about a catalogue entry. Acknowledged within one business day by a person, restating what we understood you to be asking for.

Everything else

hello@wetwareworld.com

Corrections, supplier enquiries, the WWD file format, press, partnerships, and anything that does not have a specification attached to it. Replied to within five business days.

We do not publish a telephone number or a street address, because we do not yet have ones we would be telling the truth about. When that changes they will appear here and in the footer. Until then, email is the honest answer rather than a number that reaches nobody.

What to send where

Response times are commitments, not aspirations. If we are going to miss one, you will hear that instead of silence.

Whether a thing is buildable at all quotes@wetwareworld.com 2 business days Feasibility questions are answered even when they end in “nobody currently makes this”. That answer is free and is often the useful one.
A correction to something we published hello@wetwareworld.com 2 business days Suppliers who believe an entry misrepresents them should write here. We correct against your own published material and record the change.

The WWD file format hello@wetwareworld.com 5 business days Implementation questions, vocabulary gaps, and anything about governance or licensing of the draft.
Press, partnerships, or anything else hello@wetwareworld.com 5 business days One address, read by a person. There is no switchboard and no chat widget.

General enquiry

For anything that is not a request for quotation. If you have a specification, the quote form asks better questions than this one.

If this turns into a specification, we will move it to the quote process and tell you we have done so.

Replied to within five business days. One business day if it contains a specification.
