Legal and compliance
Everything that governs a transaction with us, written to be read rather than clicked past. If a document says something you cannot live with, tell us before you order — most of it is negotiable, and the parts that are not are marked as such.
Read this first
These are the current operating policies of an early-stage company, written in plain language by the people who run it. They have not been reviewed by external counsel, and they are not a substitute for an agreement negotiated with your institution. If your purchasing office, technology transfer office, or legal team needs different terms, a master agreement, a data processing addendum, or a signed non-disclosure agreement, ask us before you order. We would rather negotiate than discover a mismatch after a shipment has left.
Wetware World is a sourcing intermediary for engineered living components. We do not manufacture. In phase one we broker: you send a specification, we circulate it to laboratories capable of meeting it, and we return comparable quotations. Nothing on this site carries the label Made by Wetware World, because nothing yet is.
Three consequences follow, and they run through every document below. The supplier's specification governs what the goods actually are. Everything is supplied for laboratory research only. And the decisions that keep material safe and lawful in your building — biosafety level, institutional approval, import permit — stay with you, because you are the only party who can make them.

Documents that do not exist yet
Naming the gaps is part of the disclosure. As of 2026-09-01 we do not publish, and do not claim, any of the following.
- A quality management system certification. We hold no ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 certification. Where the work requires one, we select a supplier that holds it and name the certification on the quotation line.
- A GMP, GLP or ISO 17025 accreditation of our own. We can route work to accredited laboratories; we are not one.
- A standard master supply agreement or master services agreement. If your institution requires one, we will work from your template.
- A published modern slavery statement or accessibility conformance report. Both are on the list; neither is written.
- A named data protection officer. We are not at a scale that requires one, and we will not invent a title to look larger.
Asking about any of this
One route, monitored by a person: hello@wetwareworld.com. For anything attached to a live quotation, use quotes@wetwareworld.com and quote the reference. We do not publish a telephone number or a street address, because we would rather publish nothing than publish an address that no one sits at.
