Description
Scaffold-free 3D liver microtissues assembled from primary human hepatocytes with non-parenchymal cells, delivered pre-formed so the buyer starts at dosing rather than at tissue formation. InSphero sells 3D InSight liver microtissues within an explicit Ready-to-use Spheroids & Kits product line and publishes production schedules for the liver and neural microtissue lines plus its DILI and DIGIT service schedules, which is unusual transparency about when tissue actually exists. MatTek offers HUREL micro livers, self-assembling co-cultures of cryopreserved primary hepatocytes with a stromal cell line, across human, pooled human and seven animal species including cat, dog, minipig, primate, rabbit, mouse and two rat strains — the animal panel is the differentiator for cross-species metabolism work. Format is spheroid or micro-liver only; there is no aligned or anchored geometry available in this category. No public pricing at either supplier.
